Here's hoping your back- to -school morning, was not to chaotic! Hard to believe 2014-2015 school year has started again. Best of luck to your learner- little or any age.
During the first few days of school, children throughout PEI, and across Canada, are getting used to their new classrooms, teachers and classmates. Here are some tips for parents to make the first few days a little easier:
Number 1: Breathe.
Number 2: Send your child in with a ‘Facts about Me!’ sheet so that the teacher gets to know your son or daughter.
Number 3: Have kids help with lunch packing to make sure they are excited about what they will be having.
Number 4: For parents of younger children, arrange play dates with other students in the class to help with friendship building.
Number 5: Be positive when talking about school with your son or daughter so they are more confident.
